On another note, I took Dave’s advice and looked through some of the archives on the site. The coolest thing was to read the posts from this time last year. And strangely, I was posting similar feelings about some of the same things I’ve been thinking about this year!
For example, Dave mentions his Christmas list around the end of October. And, oddly enough, I was just about to post about Christmas Lists. This just proves what I have suspected all along: that my life runs in huge macro-cycles that I am not even aware of.
Another cool thing to do is to browse your e-mail archives (if you keep them) to kept a more in-depth look at what you might have been thinking about last year at this time. Last year, Dave and I corresponded pretty frequently by e-mail and it is fascinating to read the thoughts and experiences we were relating only a year ago.
And finally, Daylight Savings Time is over. Good Riddance! Now if only someone could direct me to the Savings Time Bank so I can collect all the daylight I’ve saved up…
