We are all familiar with some strange foreign traditions. Like, for example, removing one’s shoes before entering a japanese home, or the bizarre self-mutilation that African Tribes frequently exhibit.
Here’s one for the history books. Hungarians, in the mating ritual, engage in a romantic relationship by secretly affixing a random anonymous padlock onto a fence. That picture is ridiculous. And check out the wacko quote from the “artist” at the end.
How seductive, so romantic! Makes me want to go to Home Depot or Ace Hardware and buy a bigass chain lock and put it on a fence! I LOVE YOU HONEY! THIS A PADLOCK! IT’S ON A FENCE! JUST FOR YOU! it dosen’t lock anything together or anything. i just thought you would like it. what’s that? you’d like flowers instead? You mean padlocks don’t turn you on? what? You must not be Hungarian. Geez.
